Top Festival Tips



Whether you’re following the fun from home or you’re at LouFest all weekend, get the latest photos, videos, behind-the-scenes shots and important updates from the Fest by following us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.


By now you should have received your PrintPass ticket in the mail. Remember to bring this ticket to the gate on the day of the festival to redeem it for your LouFest wristbands. If you haven’t received your PrintPass yet, please contact Front Gate Tickets or call 888.512.HELP and have your order number ready.

Located just west of the Main Entrance, the Box Office will be open Saturday, 9/7 and Sunday, 9/8 from 10am to 10pm on both days. Please enter through the proper lane for your ticket type – VIP, 2-Day GA, Single Day and wheelchair lanes are provided to ensure you receive proper access.

The LouFest Box Office will accept cash, Visa, Master Card and American Express, and will accept walk-up ticket purchases.

Gates will open at 12pm and the music will end at 10pm. For more info, check out our Ticket FAQs.


If you don’t want to lug around your items, stash your stuff in a secure rental locker near Market Square. Rent yours ahead of the Fest.


Emergency medical staff will be available on site. If you need any assistance, go to the nearest medical tent, or look for a medic, police officer or festival staff person.


Your safety and security at LouFest is our top priority. Please be aware that ALL bags will be searched each time you enter the festival grounds.

Please plan ahead to allow extra time entering the festival. Be sure to check our list of Prohibited Items.We appreciate your patience!


Before you head to Forest Park, take a look at our list of Festival DOs and DON’Ts. Get the basic info on re-entry/ins & outs and other need-to-know details, so that you can focus on what matters most – the music!


Scope out the scene and prepare yourself for the Forest Park party. Be sure you know where the key locales are like the Nosh Pit, free water stations, medical tents and more to make the most of your time!

Did you know that kids 12 and under get into LouFest free of charge? Be sure to stop by LouKidz each day of the Fest from 12pm to 5pm to enjoy some family-friendly activities including music, dancing and crafts!


Stop by Tag-A-Kid (located in the Information Booth) to put a unique wristband on your kiddo. If you get separated, we’ll have a way to contact you!


LouFest has bike parking! Our friends at Trailnet are providing a free bike valet service for all of our two-wheeling friends.
