Transportation & Parking
Forest Park is located in the heart of St Louis and the home of LouFest. The festival is located on Central Field, a large open space bounded by Wells Drive, Jefferson Drive, and Union Dr.
Ride The Metro (and the Trolley!)
Metro and LouFest are working together to provide an easy way to the festival. Train and bus services are available to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station. From there, jump on the #3 Forest Park Trolley and be dropped off at the intersection of Grand and Jefferson. Based on your arrival time, the trolley operates two ways:
Trolley Prior to 5pm
Festival attendees use the #3 Forest Park Trolley. The trolley will run its normal route, with an additional stop for LouFest. Travel time from the station is approx. 15 minutes and LouFest will be the 9th stop. Again, the trolley will run its normal route with an additional stop added for LouFest attendees.
Be sure to have a printed or digital copy of your LouFest ticket and ride the Forest Park Trolley service at NO cost!
Trolley After 5pm until Midnight
A dedicated LouFest trolley will provide direct service to and from the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to the festival. No fares will be charged. The drop off and pick up location will be located right outside the north entrance at the intersection of Grand and Jefferson Drive. The location is marked on the festival map.
For more information on how to take transit to LouFest, visit Metro transit’s blog.
Ride Your Bike
Have a bike? Use it! LouFest is providing free bike parking right outside the main entrance. Be sure to bring your own lock. Everyone knows biking is a green alternative that reduces carbon emissions and is a great way to get to the festival.
There is street parking throughout Forest Park and parking is also available at nearby parking lots and garages.
See map above for Street Closures around LouFest. These closures will take place on Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th.
The Muny Parking Lots will be closed on Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th.
ADA Parking is available near the north entrance and can be accessed at the intersection of Pagoda Circle and Theatre Drive. Vehicles must display a state-issued handicapped plate or placard. The person to whom the placard or plate is issued must be present in the vehicle, as a driver or passenger.
For any questions, please email email@example.com.
Getting Here From Eastbound I-64
The following ramps will be closed on Saturday and Sunday: McCausland, Clayton/Skinker, Hampton, Kingshighway and Papin. To detour around the interstate closure, drivers should take Hampton to eastbound I-44. Get more details on highway closures during LouFest.
Getting Here From Westbound I-64
Take I-64 West to McCausland Avenue and enter Forest Park at Lagoon Drive. Follow signs to Central Fields. Avoid Saint Louis Zoo traffic by NOT using the Hampton exit.
